breakfast in bed coked by you...
Have fun!
Reply:well it%26#039;s just one month you shouldn%26#039;t really go all out... just take her to a nice place to eat then a movie of her choice... before the movie you can walk along the beach during the sunset...
Reply:how cuute!! i think she%26#039;ll be happy if you do that
Reply:A handmade portrait would be a nice present for her. Please take a look at http://www.paintyourlife.com
They have wonderful gift ideas for every occasion. The choice is big – e.g. oil, pencil, charcoal or canvas portraits. Is that not beautiful? They are also fairly priced, and you can instruct them to send the portrait directly to the person you want!
The same company also has a studio for oil paintings reproductions. If you are looking for an affordable gift urgently, you can take a look at their %26#039;stock on sale%26#039;. Visit http://www.oil-paintings-reproductions.c...

Reply:Things that you are planning to do are nice but quite trivial. You should impress your girlfriend with something she would never expect. Have you taken photos throughout your relationship? If so pick the best one and try http://www.photoartomation.com They convert ordinary photo into wonderful piece of art. I sent them a picture of my friend and I and they made it look like a genuine painting. I gave it to her for her birthday and she’s still looking for ways to thank me.

Ladies, this weekend is 1 year anniversary w/ gf; Any ideas?
I am looking for non-jewelry options. I am taking her on a date to where we had our first date and am bringing her flowers. Also scheduled her a massage for next week.
Anything else I need to do (without giving her a rock)?
Ladies, this weekend is 1 year anniversary w/ gf; Any ideas?
Think of gift pertaining to something special between the two of you. My now husband and I alway spent the summer apart when were dating, one summer he came to visit and brought me a coffee mug that he had painted some trees on. It was a coffee mug because we always had our best conversations over coffee and the trees represented a very special moment we shared the summer before! Still after 10 years together and a wedding ring, it%26#039;s my favorite gift he ever got me because it was about something special between the two of us. It let me know that he felt our relationship was just as special as I did!
Reply:a nice lil necklace or tennis bracelet.
Reply:You can try finding the music you guys heard in there.
Reply:I think that your plan is amazing. She will love it. The only thing I would add would be either a card or a letter expressing your feelings for her and how much you love her. Let her know how wonderful this year has been with her and how you are looking forward to more.
When me and my boyfriend had our one year anniversary (haha almost four years ago) he got me a diamond bracelet and a card. I LOVED the bracelet but when i read the card i couldn%26#039;t stop reading it over and over! It meant more to me than anything the could%26#039;ve done for me.

Mom & Dad are having their 34th anniversary. Budget is low, any suggestions?
I usually buy them flowers plus because they both work. its hard to get them both in one place.
Mom %26amp; Dad are having their 34th anniversary. Budget is low, any suggestions?
How about making them a poem or letter. If you%26#039;re not too good with words yourself, how about finding a good one and framing it? Or, you could find a nice family portrait or old picture of them from when they were young, blowing it up and framing it. Another idea, is getting them tickets or gift certificates to dinner somwhere or even movie tickets for them to enjoy a night out just the two of them on a date.
Reply:take them to a beautiful beach and give them a poem telling them how you feel Report It
Reply:How about going to like Target and buying a photo album/scrap book and putting together all there favorite moments, include any baby photos and things like that. Or you can make invitations and send it to their jobs inviting them to a special dinner, and you can make their favorite meal ( or order their favorite meal). Or if you really have a hard time getting them together then I would just do something for the each of them that would really make not only that day but the entire month!! Like maybe wash your dad%26#039;s car, and maybe for your mom organize something (attic, basement) or get her (or both) a certificate to a day spa!! They can be pretty inexspensive around this time because you can usual find specials!!
Reply:Photo album that is filled with a trip down memory lane.
Reply:How about cooking them dinner? It doesn%26#039;t have to be expensive. Here%26#039;s something you could make relatively inexpensive:
--Spaghetti with meat sauce (brown ground beef in a pan, add a jar of spaghetti sauce that your family likes and spoon over cooked spaghetti)
--Tossed salad (lettuce %26amp; tomatoes would do)
--Hot buttered Garlic bread
--Vanilla ice cream with thawed-out frozen strawberries and a little whipped topping
I know you say it%26#039;s hard to get them both in one place, but they have to be together some time. Be alert...ask questions as to when they%26#039;ll be home next.
Good luck!
Reply:Find a photo of them when they got married
or when they were young dating.
Go to the photo shop and order them mugs or a blanket with there photo picture on it
OR make a caladar of them with different photos of them with family and such
Reply:If you can get a small replica of what their wedding cake looked like when they got married. Either that or make a scrap book or the 34 years.

I need help finding an anniversary gift for my girlfriend of one year?
I send her flowers at least once a month, so I can%26#039;t do that. And, we go pretty much where ever we want, so I%26#039;m having a hard time planning a trip. I see her almost everyday and I love her to pieces! I want to get her something special but I%26#039;m having a really hard time figuring out what to do. Any help would be really great!

Candy is dandy, but gems won%26#039;t rot her teeth.
Unless you want to start that dialog, don%26#039;t get her a ring. Bracelets and necklaces do well.
Inscribed with the date will be a plus.
Also, a special day/night out geared exactly for her can play well too. A day spa with the both of you together is cool, because it is luxurious and celebrates the both of you.
Reply:Ok, most girls love cute things. So, get a cute teddy bear that is irresistible. Then buy her favorite flower and place it on the teddy bear%26#039;s paw. Then buy a cute necklace that she would like and put it around the teddy bear. This is also a good birthday present. But this is only good for girls that like cute things.
Reply:You are such a sweet guy.
Get her a not so expensive bracelet that is as beautiful as her.
She%26#039;d appreciate it. It isn%26#039;t the prince, but the thought that matters the most. =)

What should I get my girlfriend for our one year anniversary?
I dont really want to go with jewelry because I want to be able to step it up next year. I occasionally bring home flowers and got her flowers and cards for V-day, so I think that may be overdoing it. We also didn%26#039;t meet at a very romantic place and had a pretty simple date. What should I get her? I gotta love for her but I%26#039;m stumped, were both in college.
What should I get my girlfriend for our one year anniversary?
Try a spa gift certificate. Tell her to reserve an evening for you, make her an appointment (the people at the spa will be able to help you decide what to get for her-most girls like manicures and pedicures, and you can%26#039;t go wrong with a facial) and tell her where she%26#039;s going about an hour ahead of time (to give her time to prepare, shave her legs, etc. and also so you can cancel if she hates the idea). Then pick her up afterwards and whisk her off to your place for a yummy meal (her favorite take out, sushi, something from a gourmet grocery store...) by candlelight. It can%26#039;t fail!

Today is our two year anniversary...?
and I bought flowers for my girlfriend, a dozen roses. We%26#039;re both at work right now and I was thinking about taking them to her at her work. She works at a quizno%26#039;s sub. I was going to have one of their customers take them into her. But what would I do then, just go back to work? What do you think? Good?
Today is our two year anniversary...?
I think your should deliver them in person, see if she can take a break for a minute and say HI. Make sure not to take it in the middle of dinner or lunch rush.
I think it%26#039;s sweet...you could go back to work you%26#039;re choice
Reply:flower dinner
Reply:lunch break surpize her
Reply:If you both have a lunch break you could a) deliver them to her and invite her lunch. b) wait until you are both out of work and go out for dinner. I%26#039;m sure she would be pleased either way. It is so romantic for you not only to remember the date but to try to make it special.

Any ideas are greatfully recieved.

You could give her a %26quot;gift certificate%26quot; for a manicure and pedicure, or a day spa, then take her out for a nice dinner. Happy Anniversary :) Don%26#039;t forget a card....
Reply:Check out this anniversary themed gift basket. It went over pretty well when I got it. And it is pretty inexpensive.

I'm spending my Anniversary alone...?
Because my husband started a new job tonight. He left me flowers and a nice card and I got him nothing. I was kind of aggravated about the timing - he didn%26#039;t have to start tonight. Should I get him a card and gift or can I skate with a card?
I%26#039;m spending my Anniversary alone...?
My husband and I barely even acknowledge our anniversary...let alone do cards and gifts... it%26#039;s just another day....is all that really necessary if you really love each other?
Reply:If I had some one like you and she cared about me as much as you do about him, there would be no anniversary period, do not wedding vows no say for better or worse. you can%26#039;t have it all. At least he has a job. I know a lot of women who would be grateful
Reply:at least it was for something good, my first wedding anniversry was spent alone also but my husband was in jail.so be happy with what you got and make it up to him.
Reply:I can understand your frustration, but give him a card, and a gift. Because I am sure he%26#039;d rather be with you on your anniversary also.

Reply:Get him a card and/or a gift... Anniversary is only a number. If this is his only %26quot;transgression%26quot;, count your blessings and consider yourself lucky.
(I actually forgot when my husband%26#039;s b-day is - was off by 10 days; he still jokes about it and gives me a hard time - he thought it was totally funny. It doesn%26#039;t matter WHEN you celebrate things, as long as you DO celebrate them.)
Reply:did you act aggravated? if so, tell him sorry, that you just wanted to be with him on this special night.and IF so, give him two cards.one for an anniversary and one to tell him how sorry u are for being upset.
Reply:a card...and you as a gift
Reply:If you have the time and ability, make up a meal for when he gets home. Or dessert. Followed by dessert (y%26#039;know?) If you are sorry, tell him so. Even if he doesn%26#039;t know you are aggrivated, apologise. That way he knows how you felt, and how you feel now.
Happy Anniversary!!
Reply:Well, I spent my Anniversary alone cause my husbund is in Iraq and I have spend my last 3 birthday without him as well and I get by. It%26#039;s just another day but you should have gotten him a card or something. I sent my husband a card on our anniversary even tho he is so far away.

The exact date isn%26#039;t important to me....it%26#039;s the culmination of all the years we%26#039;ve been together that%26#039;s important. We celebrated when they got back.
Do something nice for your husband when he gets back home. One night does not a marriage make.
Reply:I%26#039;m sure your husband is not happy about this either. but he took the time to get you something. i think that you should get your butt away from the computer and go get him something, maybe something you both can have fun with when he gets home.

Your man put his responsiblity to you first, even though you feel second right now. He %26#039;s doing what he thinks is right in the face of your disapproval.
Be thankful he wants to come home, wants to earn a decent wage, and is willing to sacrifice to achieve that. Have your anniversary the whole day and night next time he is off.
And take a good look at your man. He sounds ok to me.

I need 6 month anniversary idea's.?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 months come next month. He%26#039;s amazing he brings me presents when i%26#039;m not feeling well or when i%26#039;ve had a bad day. I get flowers almost every week too. I want to do something that will let him know I care just as much. Anyone have any good idea%26#039;s. I%26#039;m looking for a great gift idea as well. Thanks in advance.

Book a couple nights at a nice bed %26amp; breakfast within about a 1-2 hour drive of where you live. Tell him not to make plans for the weekend, but don%26#039;t tell him anything else. Sneak over to his house when he is at work, and pack his suitcase, and stick it in your car. Tell the B%26amp;B that you want the jacuzzi room, a champagne bucket and glasses, and the fluffy bathrobes. Have them arrange either room service dinner, or research a take-out or restaurant in the city that the hotel staff can go get and bring to you.
Pack (in your cooler w/ice packs - NICE champagne), lingerie, chocolates or other nibbles, bath/massage oils, *adult novelties*, you pick.
Kidnap him from work - just show up at his office and say, %26quot;Get in the car%26quot;. Drive to the B%26amp;B - don%26#039;t tell him anything!! When you show up, let him see the surprises you have arranged, and just spend all weekend soaking each other up. You might go somewhere to hike, or swim, but mostly, just lazy around and love each other.
Reply:I would treat him to a nice supper at a fancy restaurant and then some desert with some of your own fancy moves...and don%26#039;t forget the fancy oils, they make any special occasion, super....Have fun !!

Fancy dinner, or cruise dinner
Go out for ice cream with your son
Go see a show he likes.. i.e. motorcross?

My 2 year anniversary is comming up. What is an original idea?
My wife doesn%26#039;t want me to spend any money. Please keep it under 50.00. And I have done flowers and dinner to death.
My 2 year anniversary is comming up. What is an original idea?
how about renting a row boat,,, deck it with flowers(store bought) and buy a bottle of champagne and make a small picnic...then row together around a pretty river or lake!
Reply:A day at the Spa manicure and pedicure pamper her for a change
Reply:do a sweet dinner at home cook her dinner tell her how much she means to you..Pamper her yourself..don%26#039;t pay for someone to do you do it..it will make her feel specail..and she will enjoy it..or you can also my favorite is when he replays our first date the first time we went out or whatever you did when you Met this person..Good Luck
Reply:See if you can have someone help you make a perfume for her. I know there are places you can do that, just not sure how much it costs. See if you can have a star named after her. Write her a poem that comes from your heart, that doesn%26#039;t cost anything. It%26#039;s not about money, it%26#039;s about love. No one says you have to spend money to show someone you love them, yea it%26#039;s easier, but just do something that would make her say to all her friends %26quot;guess what he did for our anniversary? It was the sweetest thing...%26quot;
That%26#039;s all you need to worry about
Reply:Take her to a drive in movie if you have them in your area.
Plan a picnic, blanket in a park near the water..or....if you want to just stay in..you could clean the house for her and go to the store buy food for a special meal, cook for her and get a bunch of candles,(craft store or dollar store) maybe some fake rose petals ( you can buy a bag at michaels or any craft store, I think walmart might even have them)and put them around in your room make a romantic setting a bottle of wine or champagne, cut up fruit or grapes...and the rest is up to you!! :) Just relax and enjoy

My 1st year anniversary?
So far heres what I have planned....
We will go to a nice, fancy restaurant for dinner all dressed up(obviously, I will pay for it all). While we are at dinner, her brother will set up things I have bought for her room for a suprise(she has no idea). There will be scented candles places around the room, rose petals thrown all over the bed and room, a CD playing meaningful music to us and special songs, and massage oil which I will use to give her the massage of her life. While eating a wonderful dinner, a waiter will bring some meaningful flowers I have arranged to be delivered by suprise. We will come home to see her will decorated room where I will look into her eyes and read a meaningful card I have written for her, telling her how much I love her with many different personal things I have written inside of it. While the music plays, I will ask her to close her eyes, as I place a beautiful ring on her finger and kiss her than tell her to open her eyes. It becomes more intimate...
My 1st year anniversary?
wow thats so nice i think i will have my husband read this hes not romantic at all maybe he can take some hints from you.
Reply:That is sweet you are right on track
Reply:Here%26#039;s something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.
Reply:Aww. That%26#039;s sweet. My one year%26#039;s in two months : )

3 months boyfriend anniversary , what should the girl do/get?
If you need a really personal gift idea, these personalized soaps from soapcard.com might do the trick. They make romantic heart shaped soaps with your photo and personalized message embedded inside. I got one for my boyfriend and he loved it. You can write all kinds of funny stuff. My boyfriend thought it was super cute, .the %26quot;Think of me when you%26#039;re feeling dirty%26quot; soap was the one he loved the most.
Reply:Oh yeah, it%26#039;s fab. Check out her other 200+ answers. This is a marketing bot. Cut and paste for every single person who asks about gift ideas. It%26#039;s a poor use of this system to turn it into a marketing tool. Enjoy. Report It
Reply:Music, movies and electronic things are usually good boy gifts. But if you%26#039;ve been together 3 months, you should know a little about his interests and what he likes. Next time he mentions wishing he had one thing or another (and it%26#039;s appropriately priced) write it down for these kinds of moments.
What are his hobbies? What%26#039;s his favorite band? How about something unique like a signed poster or CD?
How about a night at the ball park? Do you have a sports team in town?
Does he like games? books? what about something computer-y?
Have you ever seen his room?
Lots of choices for guys. But follow his hobbies and interests. Don%26#039;t just go looking for %26quot;guy gift%26quot;.
And don%26#039;t spend a bunch of money. You set the bar too high for a %26quot;3 month anniversary%26quot; gift, and then you%26#039;re busted at Christmas, birthday, etc.
Good luck gift hunting!

1 year anniversary coming up with gf. any Ideas?
Will send flowers to work, got that covered..(just got back from vegas so no vegas trip). Any ideas? what I should do for her or where we should go. Thanks.
1 year anniversary coming up with gf. any Ideas?
Aww you too! me too i have exactly 24 days until its one year with my boyfriend. Well it depends if you would like to keep it not so costly you could take her to a drive in theater...finishing off with a nice beach picnic at night or while the sun is going down. [yes they still have drive in theaters. just google drive in theathers]. Or if you want to go all out and be Mr. fancy pants..lol take her to a very romantic and classy restaurant than take her home and end the evening with a nice bubble bath together...whispering sweet nothings in her ear rose petals on the bed...you know the whole 9..
Reply:Yes, my idea or strong suggestion after being married for 18 years --- is do the dishes and cook her dinner for a Week. Even if you have a dishwasher. If and when you have kids, and you both work remember that taking care of the house too is a full time job along with taking care of the spouse.
Reply:take her back to the first place you guys met and have a nice lil picnic set up. that would be nice and thoughtful and it shows that u remember alot about her like buy the blanket in her fave color, have her fave food, fave song playin. it shows that u really do listen to her when she talks
Reply:take her to a romantic or her favorite restaurant (you pay obviously)... then stoll around the street... just something very intimate with just the two of you! do something that only she could appreciate! something personal.. you get the idea! :)
congragulations by the way!
Reply:I can%26#039;t believe I can answer two different questions with this same response, but I think it%26#039;s a really good idea, so I hope it%26#039;s ok to share it again:
He left a trail of rose petals on the floor of my bedroom leading to the living room. Every few feet there was a different colored rose and a note detailing what each color rose represented and how it related to our relationship. (Yellow for friendship, red for love etc).
At the end of the trail of rose petals was a teddy bear wearing a USMC t-shirt (he was a Marine) and holding a red rose. Needless to say, he got lucky that night.
Another time, (Valentine’s Day) he made an appointment for me at my regular salon to get my nails and hair done (he paid) dropped me off, picked me up and then took me home where I found my dining table covered in rose petals and a huge bouquet of roses. He also took me to dinner and the ballet that night.
I also had a boyfriend who rented a room at a nice hotel, took me out for a seafood (my favorite) dinner overlooking the ocean, and had a limo pick us up and drive us around San Diego for 4 hours.
But one thing that will really get her...put together a photo album of the two of you and it may sound cheesy, but a CD of songs that make you think of her. I%26#039;m 37 and that still gets me!
Good luck!
Reply:do to a nice dinner ( your treat of course) and then spend the weekend at a fancy hotel and let her to to the hotels spa for a relaxing massage.

Reply:A nice weekend vacation at a beautiful hotel near a beach sounds romantic to me. May a nice pieve of jewelry, maybe earrings or bracelet.
Reply:Take her out to her favorite restaurant.
The first birthday my husband celebrated with me, he bought me a spa package and then we went out to eat at my fav. restaurant that night!

One Month Anniversary on Valentine's Day--What should I do?
For starters I%26#039;m 13 and I%26#039;ve been going out with this girl for like four weeks, and Feb 14th will be one month. What should I do for her, it%26#039;s like two events in one. Flowers, dinner, argh I don%26#039;t know!! HEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPPPP MMMMMMEEEEEE!!!!!!
One Month Anniversary on Valentine%26#039;s Day--What should I do?
Haha, okay first, chill. Same day? No prob. Do something valentines traditional. Y%26#039;kno.. flowers, chocolates, I personally love stuffed animals. My bf gave me one and I sleep with it every night thinkin of him=] Second, get or make a card. If u make one she%26#039;ll apreciate the effort more. Say how much you like her and why, how great she is, happy anniversary/vday.. etc. If your able to make or take her out to dinner thats a bonus btu your 13 so u don%26#039;t have to at all. But... You could just get her a necklace. You can just get a simple silver one for 30 bucks or somethin. If you don%26#039;t wanna spend that much.. then make her something or just leave it at the vday gifts. Hope this helped!
Reply:flowers (red roses) and dinner yes. maybe get her to her favorite resturaunt; depending on how your and her parents let you both go out.

On your anniversary .....?
would you rather get fresh flowers or a box of expensive candy or both?
On your anniversary .....?
i would rather have the flowers i think they are mor romantic

Reply:If Im sitting on the beach the waves crashing on the shore my wife in my arms it wouldn%26#039;t matter which, but she could have both . or none......... Id buy both . because she loves both flowers and candy.
Reply:Only if the flowers are served over a bed of rice....now candy on the other hand should be dark chocolate and not that cheap milk chocolate crap.
Reply:I%26#039;d rather a nice home cooked meal - then a massage and a little loving - forget the chocolate and flowers - too expensive and too cliche...
unless of course the rose petals where lining the bed and the chocolate was body paint, now that might be a nice present!

Reply:Neither really.Flowers die and that is kind of sad to see and candy is kind of overdone.Personally, I would like something truly from the heart.A personal letter or a poem or a coupon book full of creative things my lover could do for me.Wash the dishes, backrub, make dinner ,those kinds of things and believe me you can get very creative! I would want something that no one else could give me but that special person.I have a ten yr.coming up next week and I have to come up with something big myself!

Reply:neither one. i just want to be happy every day not just on my anniversary or valentines day. i think it would be nice to have my husband plan a nice evening. every aspect of the evening...like who is watching the kids, what time we are leaving, reservations if we need them, where we are going. i always get stuck doing that stuff and it makes it no fun at all so why go anywhere.
Reply:I personally wouldn%26#039;t want either.
Reply:neither,,, i would rather do something adventurous like hot air ballooning or rock climbing
Reply:Neither.....
Reply:None of the above. I would rather have Cubs tickets.
Reply:Fresh Flowers and a bottle of my favorite rum. Its your anniversary isn%26#039;t it? Call Me!

1st year anniversary and i need ideas for my girlfriend! help im stuck!!!?
Think really hard about all her favourite things and then make up a little basket with all those things in it. If you do that she%26#039;ll appreciate how much thought you put into it.
Reply:Lucky her!! Im jealous. haha
Def bring flowers - or just one flower... have dinner somewhere nice... u can surprise her wth the place, or if its a gift, something personal to her.
Reply:flowers chocolate and diamonds!!! excecially diamonds!!!
what i always love is when my boy friend takes me to a movie of my choice w/ no complaint on whitch one i choose. dinner at my fav resraunt and the end the night w/ something beautiful and sparkly!!! (diamonds!!)
Reply:Make a nice picnic with wine and homemade food and (Weather permitting) spend the day with her in a park or something. Sometimes it%26#039;s not about spending money, it%26#039;s about spending time. Make it a surprise and pick her up without telling her where you%26#039;re going.
Reply:if she is %26quot; the one%26quot;..a cartier love bracelet.
if you wish for something different..take her away for the weekend....it can be some place simple like a bed %26amp; breakfast..or can be a posh hotel....
just a bottle of champagne..a key to the room and the two of you...
happy anniversary!.
Reply:depends on your age/budget and seriousness of relationship
Reply:Go paintballing, you can shoot each other, get dirty, then soothe each others wounds at the end of the day. mmmmm sounds goo to me! It will be a day to remember, next year you can do a balloon ride, keep the fun in your lives.
Reply:Ok, you know it is coming up, so invite her to dinner in a posh restaurant a week before and ask her if she knows what the date is... she%26#039;ll think that you have stuffed up the date, but will half sort of give you credit and say it is our 1st anniversary?
Then you say ALMOST! today is the first anniversary of the day you accepted my asking you out/meeting or something that she would lose focus of because she is focused on the BIG day the actal anniversary,
Then say, I know this because next week is our anniversary and I asked you out a week before..... and she will melt...
Reply:An engagement ring! ha
Reply:im newly wed he also has done alot of nice things like that and if it were my hubbie id want him to take me away for the weekend to the ocean or whatever is somewhat close to you that is nice romantic and relaxing......
Reply:Nice pair of earings.
Reply:Just be creative. Chocolate, CDs, flowers, gifts... they%26#039;re all good but being creative is the best way to make your girlfriend smile.
Every time I do something for my girlfriend, I add some sort of creative flair to it in order for it to be a memorable event. It isn%26#039;t so much about the gift as it is about the whole package.
For Xmas one year, I gave her the 12 days of christmas for the 12 days leading up to xmas day. The gifts were small and not that flashy for the most part, but I made sure one showed up on each successive day. Day 1...a Partridge Family CD. Day 3 - French restaurant where they prepared 3 small chickens in different ways.
Day 5 - a box of 5 plain golden donuts with some coffee (luckily, day 5 fell on a Sunday).
Last year, she loves art so I played on the 5 senses. Taste %26amp; smell - food, touch - mosaic class, sound - music for the iPod, sight - acrylic paints and brushes
Just because - one weekend I brought her to a B%26amp;B and played a clue game. I%26#039;d send her clues to where we were going by giving her items she had to figure out: So, we were going to a B%26amp;B and this room had an oriental feel and it was in wine country. All the clues I sent had some sort of theme and once she figured it out what the theme of the set of clues were, she could use that to piece together where we were going, what room we were staying in and what we were doing. She only figured out a few clues but loved the whole game of anticipation and figuring out where to go. Plus, I faxed it, mailed it, e-mailed, texted and left voicemails with clues.
Just be creative. If you guys have a favorite thing to do, then break it down into its core components and then apply a bunch of situations. If she likes animals, then make an animal themed day such as an animal named restaurant, a visit to the zoo, feeding the ducks at the nearest spot of water etc.... Sometimes your ideas will seem hokey or corney... but if you can legitimately mix the ideas together and they all have a theme, she%26#039;ll see you put in a lot of effort to make a great day. And, don%26#039;t think it has to cost a lot of money. Usually things like this just take a little time and willingness to commit to the idea of being creative.
Reply:take her to the place you two first met. if you have a picture of you guys together from the beginning, have it framed. personal stuff matters, not what money can buy because it sounds like you have already got her a lot of stuff.
Reply:take her on holiday

What does she like? Museums are free usually. Picnic in the park. Treat her like a queen for the day being the perfect gentleman. Give her a massage (my personal fav). Star gaze. Find a special place in your area and take her to make it YOUR place. Recreate your first date. Write her a poem/song.
Hope that gives you some ideas.
Reply:me personally i love jewelry SO find something in your price range and see how it goes..
Reply:go to a beach or go on a boat ride
Reply:dinner and a movie and afterward if yall are intamint heat things up.my man does that and it tickles me to death that he cares so much.hey it shouldnt matter as long as you do something there are men out there that dont care as long as you do something with her or for her thats all that should matter.
Reply:I would say take a walk through a park or something, or along a river just holding hands and talking. Then somewhere along your way, set up a picnic beforehand so she is surprised with lunch. Spend time together, doing whatever, head back to your place and have flowers set up along with her favorite movie and dessert.
It%26#039;s sweet, fun, non-expensive, and creates special memories.
Have fun and Happy Anniversary! Good luck!

First Year Anniversary of dads passing?
One year ago Feb.16 my daddy passed on,should i do something special on that day? He%26#039;s not buried so i can%26#039;t put flowers. ty.
First Year Anniversary of dads passing?
yes there is always something special that you and family can do, have a feast and talk about the good times you had with him and funny things that he would say or do keep him in your thoughts, every day is a special day when you remember your dad ok
Reply:god bless you and your family everyday baby god is watching over all of yu and your dad too take care Report It
Reply:Yes you can do something. By he is not buried I am going to assume he was cremated. What you can do is get family together and tie a ribbon to a tree and have a moment of silence, or just have family together to sit around, have a meal, and remember him threw your memories. It will be hard, but that is how you will keep him alive in your heart....by remembering him!
Reply:You can. Anything that makes you feel better. You can honor his memory by doing anything the 2 of you used to do together, reflecting on his life, getting together with family. Whatever YOU want to do on that day is a great way to spend it!!

HELP: Cute anniversary ideas for my boyfriend??
Normally, I%26#039;m a very creative person.
But when you%26#039;ve been with your boyfriend for two years, you start to run out of ideas. I always love doing special things for him, but I just think of anything different this time.
I really want this one to be good; I want him to know how much he means to me. And since you can%26#039;t exactly buy a promise ring or a million flowers for your guy, it%26#039;s kind of difficult.
I was thinking something along the lines of, perhaps putting something on his stairs, like petals, leading up to his room, and then have the surprise sitting there.
BUT WHAT should it be? Any ideas? Thank you so much guys. Xoxox.
HELP: Cute anniversary ideas for my boyfriend??
If you want to do something special for him don%26#039;t do some corny girlie thing like petals and a gift. If you want him to remember it take him golfing or fishing or do some guy like thing with him maybe a nascar race if that%26#039;s what he likes.
Reply:Maybe since its summer you two could go to a beach or watch a movie then do something else like to go out to dinner at a fancy restaurant.

1st anniversary of a close family members death ?
we are going to the church in the morning and then up to the crematorium in the afternoon , we will be taking flowers with us is their anything else we can do to honour their memory
please kind answers only its a difficult time thanx xxx
1st anniversary of a close family members death ?
First let me express my most sincere condolences on your loss. My only sibling died in the summer of 2000, and I remember very well what the pain was like on the first anniversary of his death.
One of the things we did that day (I also did it last year on the first anniversary of the death of one of my dearest friends) was buy a bunch of balloons. We all wrote notes saying the things we had wished we had said earlier, when there was still time. We tied them to the strings of the balloons and let the balloons go. There was something almost cleansing about letting those balloons and their messages go. It didn%26#039;t make the pain any better, but it did give some comfort.
As for the children, you%26#039;d have to check with the cemetary (I am presuming the ashes are interred at a normal cemetary, either in one of those special vaults or in the ground). I know that in my area, you are allowed to leave almost anything you like at a burial place. One thing I see a lot this time of year when I go to where my grandparents are buried is Christmas things, like wreathes or other decorations. One year, I also saw a sprig of mistletoe with a lovely note on it asking those who saw it as they passed by to remember to give their loved ones a kiss, as we never know when we might lose them.
If the cemetary or mortuary allows it, I would let the children decide what they would like to leave. Explain to them that it should be something small, and something which they think your family member might like. I, myself, used to always take candy canes and chocolates to my sister-in-law%26#039;s grave, as she loved sweets.
I know you said that you had a rose bush planted, but might I suggest that you also plant one in your own garden? That is my mother%26#039;s practice, and it is really a lovely reminder when you see your plant blooming. At our old house, she had a rose bush for her mother, and a berry bush for her father, because he loved berries with cream.
I do truly wish there was some way for me to soothe your pain, but I know from experience that time is the only thing which makes it bearable. Hang in there, and I promise you that one day it won%26#039;t hurt quite as badly as it does right now.
Be well.

Reply:I%26#039;m crying with you Bex because I feel your pain - I know as I have lost both my parents and just had the anniversary of both of them. If you get this before you go I would like to say your thoughts of your loved one will reach him and just light a candle in his memory. Place a little bunch of flowers next to his photograph when you get home. He will be watching. love you Bex xxx
Reply:How about taking a nice pound cake.
Reply:One idea I really liked was planting a tree in the loved one%26#039;s name. It helps the enviornment and is a lasting tribute to the person. You can buy a plaque to put on it if you want, but just knowing there is a tree where you can go and watch it grow really helped our family. God bless all of you I hope that time will lessen your pain.
Reply:It sounds as though you have pretty much covered the things I might have thought of....I suppose I can only think of one occasion when I have been through something similar....we lost my father%26#039;s guardian in 2001....and while he was not a family member in the strictest sense, he was the nearest thing I have ever had to a grandfather...and I loved him a lot. I do remember the time around the first anniversary of his passing....all I could do was keep him and his family in my thoughts, because they all live in Yorkshire and I am in Cambridge! I did keep his family in my thoughts...especially his widow...and I kept thinking of him during that time, too...it was hard not to.
Best of luck to you.....keep your chin up....my thoughts are with you.
Reply:I will be thinking of you
xxxxx
Reply:Sorry for your loss. You could take a poem and read it at the site; bring pictures; do a Bible (or whatever religious book applies) reading; sing their favorite song; have each person relate one fond memory or tell their favorite thing about the person; have each person state one positive characteristic of the person (funny, kind, gentle, patient, etc.).
Reply:Bex you know I will understand how hard this is for you being my first Christmas without my daughter.
We are taking flowers to the crematorium and my sisters are putting a piece in local paper in her memory.
The fact you remember is honour enough to be honest it is what is on inside not material things.
Your children can leave a small gift yes they do allow it.
At my local one you can have a plaque done but it is expensive and also the funeral home did small cards for £2 which had a lovely verse on one side and her details on other to keep in purse or wallet.
My thoughts are with you and if you want a chat you know where I am.
Reply:What we did every year since my dad died 8 yrs ago is we buy a vanilla candle and we have asked our closest family members to do the same and we light it at 7am on april 5th and keep it lit till 8pm that same night the time he passed on and that way he is a little closer to our hearts too... I am sorry for your loss and may god bless and comfort u in this time of sorrow...
Reply:Will be thinking of you Bex..x
Reply:How about something like a hyacinth or poinsetta in a pot as it%26#039;s nearly Christmas too
Reply:I plant a small tree on each anniversary of my brother%26#039;s death.
Reply:My sincere sympathy to you and your family. It is difficult to have a family member die but it is especialy difficult near the holidays.I would suggest that you could make a memorial donation to the family members favorite charity. It will be a meaningful tribute that will continue to do good long after the day has passed. When my sister-in-law died we gave money to an animal rescue organization and with my parents it was the hospital for sick kids. The point is that the donation will support the charity that meant the most to your family member. You could make it an annual donation.Take care.
Reply:its sad to know u r going threw this hard time especially during the hollidays but i would fill a bunch of balloons in ur loved ones favorite colors and put a small note on one of the ballloons and release it into the sky a note of love is what i would do i wish u the best in ur time of need and hurt i wil pray for u and ur family love brandi
Reply:Do you have anything the deceased relative gave to you?
I know it may be hard to see those precious things go, but give it to her/his closest family, this is there time of need. They need those things to sooth the hurting.
I am so dearly sorry for your loss.
With kind regards,

With kind regards,
Jake

1st anniversary help?
I’m asking for a few ideas of what to do that would be special instead of just dinner and flowers or something like that I want it to be different, my wife is 19 and I am 20. We just ran off and got married without the family, although most of them knew, and my wife kinda wanted a big wedding. So do you think that a big get together with the whole family would be good?
1st anniversary help?
a family party weould be lovey ...remeber the first anniversary is paper so perhaps send her a paper invite for the party would be good
fairplay to you for putting in the effort if more men were like you more marraiges would be happy
Reply:I think once you%26#039;re married, that%26#039;s it - it%26#039;s kinda rude to schedule a big party a year later...you had your chance.
My husband and I have been married 2 years, together for 4 years total and we love going to nearby bed and breakfasts as a way to celebrate our anniversary. We always schedule ours near the Renaissance festival so that we can go enjoy that too on the same weekend. It%26#039;s fun, romantic and something different that gets you away without going too far or spending too much
Reply:Yes, find an reception hall and have a cater dinner.
Congrats on Anniversary
Reply:try to plan a big wedding for her ask her mom to help and remarry the one you love
Reply:i think a big get together with the family is awesome. but after i would take her to a trip on a very pretty place 4 ex. acapulco mexico, they have beautiful beaches or to hawaii

It`s our 35th wedding anniversary tomorrow,?
My husband bought me a lovely bouquet of flowers, as I was putting them in a vase, my budgie was going mad. Can he eat either the petals or leaves of the flowers? They are, Chrysamthamins, carnations, asters and roses.

10th Anniversary is coming up, and what to come up with something different...?
Flowers and 12 roses are nice but are becoming boring...should not spend more than $200 because we promised each other to keep it simple and am staring blank on ideas...HELP!
10th Anniversary is coming up, and what to come up with something different...?
Be home alone....write up ten notes leading her from room to room...cabinets to sofas...etc etc....with each note, say something for her to do like for example when she walks in the first note says HELLO SWEETHEART COME INTO THE KITCHEN AND OPEN THE REFRIGERATOR....then there would be a second note in the fridge saying...LOOK BEHIND THE MILK AND GET THE STRAWBERRIES %26amp; WHIP CREAM AND COME INTO THE BEDROOM...then the next note telling her to go into the restroom...that note saying...YOUR BUBBLE BATH AWAITS YOU WITH A GLASS OF WINE....then the 4th next to the glass of wine telling her to COME BACK INTO THE BEDROOM AND LOOK ON THE NIGHTSTAND...then the 5th saying I LOVE YOU %26amp; YOU ARE HALF WAY THERE NOW OPEN UP THE DRESSER DRAWER....inside another note (6th) UNDERNEATH IS SOMETHING TO WEAR....well you get the picture...with the last note from you carrying it into the bedroom saying something beautiful in your own words ... she will melt!!!!
Reply:You go boy!!!!!
Thx!! Report It
Reply:You might not like what I have to say because I am simple and kiind of old fashioned. Here are some ideas that I think would be great:
Don%26#039;t go away........ make the memories in your home.
Start out the day with a heartfelt letter at the breakfast table, really speak from the heart and let her know how much you love her. Remind her of the good times together and what the love she has given you through the years has meant to you. Leave one single rose on top of the letter.
Then throughout the day, each hour if you can arrange it. Give her a gift. If you have to be at work.....leave a basket full of gifts with little hints or cards telling her which one to open next. Have her favorite lunch delivered at noon, have a bouquet of flowers delivered with a card that says..........you are the most beautiful part of my life! I don%26#039;t know what she likes...but really listen and send little things that she likes throughout the day. I got a heart charm bracelet because I was the love of his life...etc. They weren%26#039;t expensive gifts........but they showed that he put thought into it and that was what mattered most to me.
make a cd of all your favorite songs throughout the years and play it during a romantic candlelit dinner. Candles and the cd could be one of the gifts throughout the day.
After dinner, you should give her the biggest gift and then romance her. You know the rest you have been married to her a long time.
Reply:200 each if that%26#039;s the case why don%26#039;t you go for a weekend getaway. Like your towns hotel if you pre book you may get cheaper rates. If not 200 each stay home unplug the phone get a babysitter and romance her down. use the money to buy props
Reply:Find out what her favorite childhood item was and go buy it. ex: I loved my yellow Rainbow Brite lunchpale(sp?) with the thermos. If someone bought that for me that means they took time to think and care about what I liked as a child and would know it%26#039;s something that I just want to collect therefore they really do care about me.
Reply:I took my wife to a show in London %26amp; stayed in a 4 star hotel.
Reply:okay my boyfriend got me 11 alive red roses and one pink one in tha middle that was not alive and a card that said %26quot;baby girl, I%26#039;ll love you till the last one dies!%26quot;
Reply:Send her a note with a list of things she needs to bring. Dont tell her anymore. During the day that you plan to leave give her cryptic messages to tease her about you plans. Deception is great to keep her guessing. Arrange for a manicure/Pedicure ($60). Then a massage ($40)Find a nice Motel ($100) perhaps one that has these amenities. Have the room decorated and a bath drawn. Feed her as she soaks and enjoy a nice bottle of wine/champange. Take your sweet time with her. Very very slow. Make her mad with desire. Let her truelly know how much you have enjoyed your 10 yrs and that you find her just as sexy today as the first day you met her.

Let her truelly know how much you have enjoyed your 10 yrs and that you find her just as sexy today as the first day you met her.

her and i have been together 2 years. just flowers and a card or what?
Anniversary?
yes, thats sweet..
but then you can always go that little step further and treat her to something special.. 2 years is a fair bit of time to get to know someone so do something you%26#039;ll know she%26#039;ll love/enjoy...
think about what she%26#039;s done for you and see if u can match up... for e.g. us girls tend to make scrap books and stuff, you know, that sentimental sort of stuff because WE love doing it and know you%26#039;ll like it too ofcourse, so how about you make HER one about the way you see your relationship with her.. she%26#039;ll love it..
make her something, make her dinner.. do something sweet she wont forget.. dont have to spend alot, its the thought that counts and we girls never forget the little things.. make it special, spontaneous, a suprise.. make her feel like she%26#039;s a princess =)
have fun %26amp; good luck!

Anniversary Gift?
Hello, me and my girlfriend will have been dating for two years now. I%26#039;m thinking of booking her some time at the spa or a gift certificate there, as well as making a small photo album of just pictures of us. I%26#039;m also gonna send her some flowers at work and of course supper. Thoughts??
Anniversary Gift?
O -- artwork gift!! I am tremendously amazed by photoartomation work! (http://www.photoartomation.com). They convert ordinary photos into art and print them on canvas. I sent them my favorite picture of my boyfriend and me. They made several free preview samples of altered photos for my consideration. All of them were perfect. I chose one of them I liked the most and order a canvas stretched print. That was awesome! My boyfriend was very, very touched and pleased when I gave it to him for our anniversary.
Reply:We were very, very pleased with photoartomation painting. It was a birthday present for my dad for his 50th. My dad was very impressed and touched by the picture. Report It
Reply:The photo I submitted was not exactly the way I wanted the painting to be, so I asked for some changes, and they were done with no hesitation or complaint. My experience with http://www.photoartomation.com was very pleasant, and I will be back. Report It

Reply:Thats great, but you can go ahead and have the photos turned into handmade portraits or paintings. This can be done at http://www.paintyourlife.com for a reasonable fee and according to your specifications!
The same company also has a studio for oil paintings reproductions. Visit http://www.oil-paintings-reproductions.c...

It's the anniversary of my friends fathers death and I don't know what I can do to be supportive.?
I got her a card, some other people brought her some flowers and took her to lunch. She%26#039;s not being very nice to me right now but I figure it%26#039;s a stressful time so my first intuition is to stay away and give her space.
I%26#039;m afraid she thinks I%26#039;m not thinking of her because I didn%26#039;t bring flowers or take her to lunch like our other co-workers, but unfortunately I was asked to stay behind and cover the department so they could take her.
What would you do to show someone you%26#039;re being supportive?
It%26#039;s the anniversary of my friends fathers death and I don%26#039;t know what I can do to be supportive.?
She should not still be grieving the loss, she should have already moved on with her life.
Not to say you can not be supportive on this day, but the support a friend needs is everyday; not just a special occasion.
Showering her with flowers and a special lunch is enabling her to hold onto the hurt from the loss.
Why not as a friend help her move forward with her life and let the memories of her father be a part of it.
She will always remember him and feel a void from his absence, but making a big deal out of the anniversary of his death is not necessarily the right thing to do. It will enable her.
Reply:A card is always nice, a plant...or offer to take her to the gravesite if you can.
Reply:Tell her, %26quot;I know you are probably stressing right now but I%26#039;m here for you if you%26#039;d like me to visit his graveside with you or just hang out and talk.%26quot;
If she gives you the cold shoulder, then, fine, at least you have your answer but she might appreciate it, too. Let her know, perhaps in the card, that you had to cover the department and had to miss the lunch.
Reply:you got her a card, and covered the work so i wouldn%26#039;t worry to much.it would probably be best to explain when shes less stressfull.good luck ;O)
Reply:Tell her you%26#039;d like to take her out to lunch/ drinks/ go shopping, etc this weekend. Go do something fun.
Reply:They got to do something fun for her. That kinda sucks but one thing if you really want to, is ask if she would like someone to ride with her to his gravesite later on. I%26#039;m sure she is thinking about it.
Reply:It%26#039;s very hard for your friend for the moment and you should not make her feel you are away from her. The best thing is to meet her have a chat with her make her feel your presence and so that she can feel that you are showing interest and that your doing your best to show her that you care for her. Its very important and she badly need it trust me. All the best dear
Reply:Just go up to her, put your hand on her shoulder, say I remember too, and am sorry
Reply:somtiems just sitting ther, never saying a word feels like that was the best conversation ever anyone had.... in frnship its impo to just be ther...card, flowers doesnt subsituite for time U give to them....and when she is over it..let her talk and U listen....

Exactly what you have already done. Let your friend know that you care and although you weren%26#039;t able to go out to lunch with her the other day, you still are thinking of her.

What should I buy my girlfriend of 6 years for our anniversary?
ok. See, I have been living with my girlfriend for 6 years now. She has helped me in so many ways. She helped me gain joint custody of my daughter, helped me get my GED, etc. She%26#039;s always there for me. I have been a total A-- in so many ways that it%26#039;s hard to even explain. On our anniversary, I decided to have drinks with some guys that I work with for a little while before (about 2 hours before dinner reservations). Well, we ended up late, because of me. I didn%26#039;t buy her anything. I%26#039;m not good at picking stuff out, so that%26#039;s a good reason right? She doesn%26#039;t like to pick out her presents and holidays and b-days and anniversaries mean a lot to her. Should I have bought her something? Any ideas? If someone states jewelry, please be specific as she has a lot of jewelry. no flower ideas plz. If these things mean more to her than they do to me should I just ignore the holiday or what should I do? Should I go ahead %26amp; get her something even though it%26#039;s late or forget it?
What should I buy my girlfriend of 6 years for our anniversary?
After 6 years and her putting up with all of that...a wedding ring would probably be a good idea!!!
For future things you could do what I do. 1. write it down so you don%26#039;t forget it! 2. make her your priority for that whole day! No one and nothing takes priority over her and what she wants that day. Everything else can and will wait. 3. Find a female friend to help you pick out a gift with you. I have a friend that I always ask for advice. Just say, %26quot;she like this and this and has always wanted this...%26quot; most girls are happy to help with stuff like that.
Wow dude...I don%26#039;t consider myself to be Casanova but even I know that you don%26#039;t get an engagement ring at WalMart! Its like you aren%26#039;t even trying to show her that you care about her!
Get a real ring, the best you can afford. Take her to dinner, call the restaraunt make reservations (a nice one, not mcdonalds) and let them know you plan on proposing to her. Typically they can help you with this to make it special. ie. get you a private table, have the waiter put the ring in the champagne glass etc. It would be easier to give you ideas if you told us a little about her. For example, if she like horses one way to propose would be to go horseback riding and propose in a remote area on a trail. If she like baseball do it at a baseball game. Get creative! She has put up with a lot from you and you can make it up to her with a great proposal.
Reply:I think you should ask her to get married to you and you could get her an engagement ring. Try http://www.b2cjewels.com/engagementrings... for the engagement ring. They have a good collection at a good price. If you think it is not yet time to get married but still want to buy her some jewelry piece, you can find it on http://www.b2cjewels.com

How about taking initiative and bettering your relationship. She has done so much for you and it%26#039;s good that you realize it. A gift now will seem ummm like a pitty gift. Now that you know you have screwed up and she Still stays with you, you need to show her she belongs in a pedastool. Put guy time and self-indulgence on the side for now. Open the door for her, look her in her eyes and smile just because, cook her-her favorite meal (even if you can%26#039;t cook, give it a good try). Basically, try to charm her like if you met her for the first time and just had to get to know her. Get my drift? Now, when you%26#039;ve got all that going, keep it up. :) This is not a one day thing. You don%26#039;t always have to be mushy but, throw in a few romantic things here and there as the relationship progresses. Once you feel like you can keep it up and you two are solid, then do your special proposal

I need an opinion about an anniversary gift?
It is my girlfriend and I%26#039;s two month anniversary. I need to get her something but im low on cash since i am on a very strict budget at the moment. i got her chocolates last time (she loved it) and she mentioned she wanted roses this time. i asked the florist but i only have enough money to get her 6 roses, not a dozen like my girlfriend mentioned. Does 6 roses seem too cheap or would another type of flower be better. Im willing to spend 30 bucks if someone has another idea for a gift.

mix up the flowers or just do the 6 it doesnt mean anything just that u got them for her is what matters
Reply:You could get her a rose bush. Home Depot has them. That way she can plant it and have it forever..You could even offer to do the planting for her. Tell her a bouquet of roses will only live for a few days, but that the bush, like your feelings for her, will live on.....
They aren%26#039;t that expensive...maybe $15.....
Reply:If you need another cute gift idea, these personalized soaps from soapcard.com might do the trick.
Reply:To me a single long stem rose is very romantic. A nice candle lit dinner somewhere private and some slow dancing will take you far. Good luck!

One month anniversary.....but technically we've been "together" for about 4-5 months.?
Today is my official one month anniversary with my boyfriend. technically we%26#039;ve been %26quot;together%26quot; for about 4 or 5 months. I%26#039;m his first girlfriend, and though he%26#039;s not my first boyfriend, I reallyy like him. This morning he asked me what couples normally do for the one month, like he was saying that he was gunna get me one flower.. or something that could add up and accumulate as the months progress....
i wanted to do or get something for him today tho, something cute and small/simple.
any suggestions?
Thanks! :)
One month anniversary.....but technically we%26#039;ve been %26quot;together%26quot; for about 4-5 months.?
how about a shower towel.
so when he is naked he can rub it all over him %26amp; think of you.
Reply:On my first monthiversary (which is what my girlfriend and I refer to it as), we didn%26#039;t exactly exchange %26quot;gifts%26quot;, but we began to say %26quot;i love you%26quot;, which could be a big leap depending upon the couple. A simple gift could be the gift of love, which really isn%26#039;t that simple but a very quaint and mostly effective present as long as your boyfriend isn%26#039;t expecting a lot. If you%26#039;re way past the %26quot;i love you%26quot; leap, you could try a small homemade card or create a little trinket--something that can be important to the both of you. You can also try taking him to dinner or just spending time alone together. This day can be defined with anything, but be sure not to overwhelm your boyfriend. That%26#039;s very important, seeing as it has only been one month. I notice that a lot of people overlook that aspect, which can unfortunately lead to the sudden ending of a relationship.
Also, props to your boyfriend for the flower idea; it%26#039;s very sweet and thoughtful, and also not too big for a one month present.
Anyway, I wish you a happy one monthiversary, and good luck with your relationship.
Reply:What do you mean you%26#039;ve %26quot;technically%26quot; been together for 4-5 months?
Note: Your not together until your both exclusive and stuff. If your counting the first date than you are way off lol.
But to answer your question, keep it simple. The symbolic stuff will probably fly over his head if your trying to be subtle.
Reply:hmm...normal couples wait till a year to do that, not one month, you never know if next month you%26#039;ll break up. But do go out....maybe you can cook him a nice dinner just as a celebration that your guys relationship in starting off. He%26#039;ll feel special that his girl(you) can cook, he will be proud.
Reply:Give him a really cute picture of you in a frame or if you two have a favorite picture together, put that in a frame.
Reply:consider his interests?
Reply:an ablum of you two to look at when he misses you. and when he can%26#039;t look, than a CD of songs from you to him.
Reply:Okay well if you havent kissed him yet, give hime one light kiss on the lips, and thats all, girls dont need to do much for anniversays
Reply:get him aerosmiths greatest hits cd. Everyone likes them!! If he doesnt want it I%26#039;ll take it lol
Reply:Sounds immature to me...but if you must than perhaps a nice hand written note experessing your feelings toward him...or making them more clear. Concentrate on feelings not things in a relationship...trust me on that...looking to get or to give isn%26#039;t very loving. PEACE %26amp; GOOD LUCK!
Reply:one month??? Usually the big anniversary is a year, but other than that, i dont think you should track your relationship month by month...
Reply:when he gives u the stuff just give him a hug and a kiss he will love it i swear
Reply:Hmm... probably somthing humourous, girls dont have to get their bf%26#039;s anything really. How about movie tickets or a shirt, shoes, hats? Very cool.

Very cool.

Anniversary centerpieces?
I%26#039;m throwing a surprise anniversary party for my parents this year... I have been looking to find centerpieces I can assemble for a reasonable price. I am using 22%26#039;%26#039; tall glass vases with glass pebbles and a water activated light in the bottom. What kind of flower would look nice inside them? I would like something white but not roses becuase it%26#039;s a silver themed party.
Anniversary centerpieces?
Tulips, Calla Lilies, Peonies, Chrysanthemums. All would look really nice in the tall vases you are having. Put in some twigs that are painted silver, and it will look wonderful. That%26#039;s a really nice thing you%26#039;re doing, throwing a party for your parents. Shows what a good job they did of raising you, and what a good job you did of becoming a generous, giving, caring adult.
Reply:Winter or summer?
There is a special paint that florists use to color flowers. You could spray paint any flower, silver. Carnations are inexpensive. Or you could paint silk flowers. I%26#039;ve done both, real %26amp; silk.
For winter you could get twigs, paint them silver %26amp; arrange them in your vases.
Reply:Daisies work great for this... they float! We did it for a friends wedding center pieces. Depending on how big the vase is... how round... gerbera daisies are bigger and are truly amazing. Good luck. Hope it helps.
Reply:White chrysanthemums and calla lilies with trailing green ivy would look nice.
Reply:Sorry, don%26#039;t know about the centerpieces, but here%26#039;s an idea if you have time that would be great to have on display at the party!
Something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you, they, family and friends would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some family/friends pictures to it!

Anniversary tattoo ideas..........?
My hubby and I like the idea of getting matching tattoos for our wedding anniversary.....want something relevant and meaningful.....any ideas? We had pondered adapting the infinity symbol to have a loveheart at each end........or an abstract symbol made up of our kids initials......or a flower from our wedding bouquet.......ideas appreciated...
Anniversary tattoo ideas..........?
Matching tattoos (not with names, please!) are nice. Some people suggest that it%26#039;s not a good idea in case you split up; the tattoo will still represent what is (or was) a significant part of your life, so it%26#039;ll still be meaningful and you shouldn%26#039;t worry.
Pick something that means something to you both - like from when/where you first met, or an interest you both have in common.
Or if you have a few ideas, take them into a good tattoo studio and talk it through with an artist, who might be able to incorporate all your ideas into a unique design for you.
Reply:My wife brought me a cotton sock subscription from www.mysocksubscription.co.uk - 100% cotton socks delivered every month or how often you want! Great!
Cotton is the traditional gift for the second wedding aniversary. Report It
Reply:i think the flower from your bouquet is a great idea, maybe get the artist to work the date into the flower, like have the date make a up one petal and your names make up two other petals.
I think your matching tat idea is very romantic, especially because it%26#039;s for your eyes only!!
Take your time with the design as it will be there forever, go see an artist to discuss the design, size colour etc etc.... also make sure you see thier work before you get anything done!!
Reply:i think the initials of the kids would be cute, but as for a flower... might not really be a good idea for your husband but i really do like the first idea also.. i hope yall get them, good luck and congrats !
Reply:The flower from the wedding bouquet sounds really romantic. I would suggest that and a word that means alot to both you like like fate or unity something along those lines along the stem.
Reply:I am sorry but I don%26#039;t agree with the matching tattoo thing. I have a couple of divorced friends that have matching tattoos and hate it! On my anniversary me and my husband got tattoos that meant something special about the other person. i got this beautiful flower that was like the flowers in the bouquet that he bought me when he proposed to me. He got a pin up girl that had some of my looks like the hair and the eyes and the booty! Try to think of something that reminds you of him and don%26#039;t necessarily match them but similar??
Reply:tattoo%26#039;s are really bad because when you get old they get all saggy and gross. But on the other hand it is a great way to feel connected. Try getting them in a place where only the two of you will see them;) Pick out each others

My husband forgot out anniversary.....?
It%26#039;s out 7th year anniversary and he (my husband) is notorious about remembering days - but his birthday was 2 days ago and he knew our anniversary was coming up... and he did nothing... planned nothing.... nothing....
It has been a rough year, we have moved around a lot - away from home to a place we hate, and have been fighting more this year then the last few years... and especially the last 6 months since we have moved to Vegas have been really tough.
Lately there has been external stress as well.
So needless to say, this anniversary was a big thing for me - because it was a time for us to reaffirm our feelings. Since he did nothing, planned nothing - not even a flower or anything - it makes me think there is something else going on.... not cheating, but just something. I don%26#039;t know what to think...
I asked him just now and he says I am over reacting - that he is not like that. But he also didn%26#039;t even reaffirm me with an %26quot;I love you%26quot;.
What would you think/do?
My husband forgot out anniversary.....?
Hi...you know what give it some more time before doing anything drastic. Two years ago my husband got me nothing for any of the holidays except x-mas...it was not like him at all. This is the kind of guy who brings me my favorite flowers every week or two.I never thought he cheated either but I knew something had to be wrong because he really wasn%26#039;t himself. We were having a rough year and it just got hard to be sentimental when things aren%26#039;t going so good so he just ignored the holidays like valentine%26#039;s day..etc..See when things are a little weird we women need the affection or the confirmation of love from our guys to make us feel like it will all be okay.MY husband said he felt like less of a man because he couldn%26#039;t afford extravagant gifts that year...and i think he ignored the sentiments we love to receive because he felt less of a man...the only thing that truly makes me happy is a simple card that says i love you...if your sweetie never forgot before and this year has been so tough try to let it go for now.He could be feeling inadequate about many things.Guys always work things out much more different than us.I know your feeling hurt but put it aside right now and relax and just try to be his friend,,,the sweetie he married.I have been married 20 years ....not always easy but worth the effort.Good luck and i truly hope your marriage works out.
Reply:it has to work both ways you could have done something to it is not just the mans problem anymore. i suggest you go get some flowers make a special dinner turn down the lights aand have some fun.
Reply:give him time to ajust. I have to say though did he forget your aniversary or just do nothing like you said he must have alot on his mind
Reply:So what?
It%26#039;s enough you live happily on day to day basis.
Special days are not important as every day is a special day.
Reply:I would think the same thing you are thinking; that he doesn%26#039;t love you as much as you love him. Or worse, that he doesn%26#039;t love me at all anymore. I think he%26#039;s just too comfortable and a little bored right now. Spice things up if it%26#039;s worth it to you because guys don%26#039;t seem to respond/change much from talking. They seem to need action and for some reason (boredom?familiarity?) he isn%26#039;t treating you like he wants to keep you. He knew how important this anniversary was to you so he should have respected that. Actually it should have meant just as much to him! So as far as what you should that%26#039;s really up to you. Was his doing this something that affects the way you feel about him or view him? Act according to how you feel. There are a million possibilities for what you can do but only you know what buttons to push or how to make him feel bad. Either way you do it good luck. Happy Anniversary!!~~
Reply:Human makes error... and every humanbeing makes some or the error in life ... even you might have made some error ......... right ????? So forgive him ... he is ur loving hubi right ............ To punish some one ...every one can do it easily .... but to forgive someone ... u should have a big heart ..... right
Reply:If you wanting reaffirming, you should have made plans. Sounds like he is too stressed to have given it much thought. Men don%26#039;t put as much stock in anniversaries as women do. It is better to talk to him more about what you want than be disappointed when he doesn%26#039;t know.
Reply:OOOOhhhhhh honey! This to say the least is not a good thing. I%26#039;ll admit that men stink when it comes to dates. But if in the past he always remembered then this year he does nothing your need a serious talk. SOMETHING is wrong. Men like to say that woman are the ones who always put so much stock into dates and anniversaries. Bull. If he always remembered in the past and forgets now than something is going on. If you know its not another woman. (and believe me you%26#039;d know) then he%26#039;s got something else on his mind and you have to find out what that is. Talk to him. Weather he%26#039;s in the mood or not. Confront him! If there is one thing I want to teach woman in this world is to have a back bone. Have some balls! If you want an answer from your man or anyone. Corner them and accept nothing but the truth. I am a strong independent and some would say %26#039;ruthless%26#039; female. I%26#039;m more like a man than most men. I don%26#039;t accept crap from anyone. If I feel somethings wrong I stop at nothing to find the root of the problem. It may not be what your imagination is telling you but at least you%26#039;ll know. Go for it girl! You deserve it!
Reply:You could have come up with something also. This is partly your fault.
Reply:did you get him a gift?
it would have been nice if you would have reaffirmed your love yourself. give -him- flowers and a card.
sounds like he needs a little sumpm sumpm to show him you still love him.
have a nice day.
Reply:He is an a$$!
Forgetting your anniversary or acting like it didn%26#039;t happen...thats a buncha b.s!
Talk to him...but really....it makes me sick to think he didn%26#039;t even acknowledge it....!!
Also, not an %26quot;I Love You%26quot;....I%26#039;m sorry but that woulda pushed me off the edge...
Talk. Listen. Look at it from his point of view.
Don%26#039;t take that kinda treatment though...ok? Ok. Good Luck..
Happy Anniversary!
Reply:as you said, there was a lot of stress involved. he forgot. okay, men are pron to do that once in awhile. comedians base their entire monologes on men forgetting and what we women do to these forgetful men. breathe. it is not the end of the world. next time, remind him yourself. send him an e-mail the day before or even a week before with a suggestion on something to do together on that special day. take it uopn yourself to surprise him once in awhile with your own plans. i know one day my husband will forget. and for that one day i%26#039;ll have to buy a cast iron skillet to hit him over the head to remind him (okay, i%26#039;m kidding). actually, i am the one more likely to forget. so i make an extra effort to remind myself such as a reminder on my phone, a computer calendar, something, anything!! even if it means celebrating it at 12am just to be the first to say happy birthday or happy anniverary. it doesn%26#039;t always have to be him. don%26#039;t make the responsibility be all on his shoulder. learn to coplan. it%26#039;s not that bad.
Reply:he must have alot in his mind, forgive him for the first time and have fun.
Reply:Happy Anniversary!!
Men are dingbats when it comes to dates and feelings and all sorts of things that mean a lot to us women. I have been married to my husband for 7 %26amp; 1/2 years.
ONCE I got a flower and a teddy bear on Valentines Day. I was so impressed that I was speechless! Then I just had to burst out laughing when he told me that his boss at work gave them to all the workers. Dingy!!! He could have left me thinking that he did Something on this special day!
Anyway, instead of being sulky about it, I have started taking the special day matters into my own hands. I write down the dates on a calendar and I program them into his call phone. I also start asking about a week in advance, %26quot;Where do you want to take me for my birthday?%26quot;
That%26#039;s what I do anyway. I want to have my special days special. But I%26#039;ll tell you what - even though we love each other dearly and we are best friends, I can%26#039;t MAKE that man buy flowers. Go figure!
Reply:thats low...u may have 2 surprise him get him in the mood again sum guys think that after a long time being together u don%26#039;t have to do anything anymore. He probably thinks u know he%26#039;s in love with u and why should he have to tell u over and over...u should get him in the mood again surprise him and c what happens..cheers
Reply:talk to him. Your both stressed so communication without taking it out on each other is the key.
Reply:I think he is under some extreme pressure to please not only you but your child as well.
Try to lighten up. Men forget, women forget. It isn%26#039;t the end of the world. As to why he planned nothing, from the sounds of it he knew you had gone to huge lengths to plan something %26amp; was being thoughtful in not taking away from you something that was improtant to you.
Also it sounds as if there is financil trouble too, %26amp; it doesn%26#039;t take Einstien to notice that if you are short of cash, then buying extravegant things is a waste, Do you relise he actually may have given you an affirmation that you didn%26#039;t even acknowledge ( in know my hubby %26amp; I have similar converations %26amp; it comes around that I was ignoring him when he tried to do or say something important to me)
Talk to him ask him his opinion %26amp; see what he says Tell him how you feel %26amp; what you need from him ask if he has anything like that he needs (you might get a pleasant suprise)
The dogdegirl62 is right on as well. Has some excellant advise
Reply:I don%26#039;t know what your husband%26#039;s personality is like but my husband is a very caring and loving husband, we have been married for 16 years and both love each other very much BUT... if I wait for him to plan something, I will never get to do anything! I make all the plans and even though I don%26#039;t get to enjoy surprises or the special unexpected or expected events or things that would come, I do make sure I plan the things that I would like to do. I plan my birthdays and other holidays. I get so much freedom because I always get things my way because I%26#039;m planning it. If I don%26#039;t plan something, he never notices a thing. Sometimes I even plan things just for him, like music concerts or sports for him to go to with his friends or one of the kids, he wouldn%26#039;t go otherwise.
Reply:Vegas is Sin City after all. When people move to new places, they meet new faces.
Reply:I%26#039;m married almost 31 years... I have to say most of those years were filled with a lot of unbearable despair and pain for me-- not caused directly by him, but we were just unlucky in our life. Though he never forgot entirely our anniversary- he always had a card at least and of course I love you and out to dinner whether the same night or another-- mine chooses to downplay my birthday- I find that more important than our anniversary because that is MY day-- he has never thrown me a party- he has had at least 4 or 5 biggies that I had for him, and I don%26#039;t believe in the day before, after or any other day than that DAY as the day you celebrate--which he also doesn%26#039;t feel is important......men are funny, and don%26#039;t relate to things like we do.. since you said this was a really tough year, I assume money is tight and depression comes with tough years---let him slide on this one-- he%26#039;s still with you, you both had a lot of moves this year- which I KNOW is traumatizing in and of itself--but watch him - you say you live in vegas-- not a great city for relationships-so just keep an eye on your money- your cell phone bill phone numbers, who%26#039;s he calling and who%26#039;s calling him, his night outs- etc. you get my drift- I think everything is OK but better safe than sorry.... and by the way, don%26#039;t say I love you to him until he says it to you and see how long it takes, and did you do something special for his birthday? because if you didn%26#039;t that may be why he%26#039;s ignoring your anniversary- men really aren%26#039;t into anniversaries.
Reply:Kick him in the nuts. Sounds like he did it on purpose.
Reply:I think he might be depressed.
Also, many guys are NOT interested in aniversarys etc.
Some guys don%26#039;t have a romantic bone in their body. If he was like this when you met then you should of known that things get worse not better when married.
Guys just don%26#039;t get it. They can spend a few seconds a day and make their partnres happy. Here guys I will give you some ideas ......
Ten second kiss at least once a day.
One meaningful hug a day.
Say at least one compliment a day
Look in to her eyes and truely listen to what she is saying
Your frustration fuels his wanting to withdraw
Reply:Wow...i don%26#039;t know what to say, and i definately won%26#039;t say anything b/c i don%26#039;t want you to do or think anything that might be wrong and that might ruin your relationship. Try talking to him more and try getting closer to him =/
Reply:Well, anniversary is a HUGE thing for women, so I don%26#039;t think you%26#039;re overreacting at all. I%26#039;d also think there%26#039;s something going on, too, if my husband were to forget our anniversary. (No, I%26#039;m not married at the moment, but I%26#039;d feel that way, if I were married.) Especially if he didn%26#039;t reassure you somehow or apologize for forgetting, I%26#039;d definitely feel crushed. What I would do is just tell him that anniversary meant a lot to me, and I would like it if he didn%26#039;t forget it in the future, and to do something special for me to reaffirm that he loves me still. I%26#039;d ask him if he could do that for me. Guys are not mind readers, and they%26#039;d rather be told specifically what to do. Tell him it hurts your feelings when he forgets special days like anniversary or birthday, and you%26#039;d like him to make special efforts to remember these days. He can certainly put them on his calendar to remind him of the days. Just be honest with him, and if he still loves you, then he%26#039;ll do something about it to please you.
Reply:Well what did you do? An anniversary celebration is not one-sided and maybe he need you to make the effort to make it romantic rather than expecting him to plan everything. I%26#039;m not blaming you, I think you need to reignite the fire that made you get together in the first place-and it sounds like he needs you to do it too...
Reply:Give the guy a break! An anniversary is no big thing. If it is the 10th, 25th or 50th maybe. It sounds like he has a lot of much more important thinks on his mind that a 7th anniversary.
What can you do? If you are concerned about it, make him a nice dinner, light a couple of candles and have a little anniversary dinner a day late. Tell him you love him even though times have been a little rough this last year.
Reply:I would confront him again and let him know you really are serious!!! Don%26#039;t let what ever might be going on happen any further. If he does not tell you he loves you theres something going on in my words.
I would go to a friends house for one day and let him think about how he misses you, you deserve for someone to be special to you, remember that. I would believe after a day of you being gone he will be crawling back to you with flowers.
Hope you the Best

Anyway, instead of being sulky about it, I have started taking the special day matters into my own hands. I write down the dates on a calendar and I program them into his call phone. I also start asking about a week in advance, %26quot;Where do you want to take me for my birthday?%26quot;
Reply:generally, most women plan murder so i might suggest you look into this
